ScrollStack - new “Web 3.0” features are live

We have built ScrollStack to make it easy to own your online identity, share work directly with followers, and find supporters or sell your creations.

Our estimate is that globally there are over a 100 million creators who have more than a thousand followers on social media platforms. The old ad-fueled internet simply doesn’t work for them, not least because of the lack of control over who sees their content and how they choose to charge for it.

As a result, in just one year since we have been in open beta, the creator economy has grown in multiple directions (e.g., NFTs, Play-to-earn games, ticketed live video) and far faster than anyone predicted. Our own user base has grown 4X with thousands of creators using it to create a beautiful home for their work.

The huge gap between what platforms make (top 7 had a revenue of about $145 Billion in 2020) and how little if anything is shared with creators is one of the big drivers of the emerging decentralized Web 3.0

Our focus is to make the promise of Web 3.0 available to an audience beyond the technology savvy early adopters. We are rolling out useful elements based on the feedback of our community (e.g., NFT embeds) while keeping the platform super simple to use.

Over the last few weeks we have made some big updates - improving how users can showcase their creations be they multi-media posts, books, or audio stories.

The newly designed creator feed

Today’s release is the next step - you can now quickly add ‘digital goods’ - ebooks, photographs, audio, or video. In multiple file formats. All of them work with our one-click distribution to WhatsApp, email, and social media.

Coming soon in this series of “Web 3.0” features is crypto payments. We will be one of the few platforms where creators can get paid for traditional creations like ebooks or podcasts with crypto currencies

Crypto (Bitcoin and Ethereum) payment options
